Privacy Policy

Worky v3 is a personal workout tracking app built and maintained by Akarsh Singh, SD Solutions NC. Your privacy matters. All workout data, exercise logs, personal information (name, age, height, weight), and daily notes you enter in Worky v3 are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you sign in with Apple or Google, your data syncs privately to your personal iCloud account via CloudKit. This sync is end-to-end private — Akarsh Singh, SD Solutions NC has no access to your iCloud data, and no servers or databases are operated to store your personal information.

If you sign in with Apple, your Apple ID is used solely to identify your account for iCloud sync purposes. Worky v3 receives only a unique anonymized identifier — your Apple ID email address is not received unless you explicitly choose to share it during sign-in. Your credentials are stored securely in your device's Keychain and are never transmitted to any third-party server. If you sign in with Google, Worky v3 uses Google's official Sign-In SDK to authenticate your account. Only your display name and email address are used to personalize your experience. This information is stored locally on your device and in your iCloud account, and is never sent to any Worky v3 server.

Worky v3 makes one type of outbound network request: exercise name searches sent to wger.de, a free open-source exercise database, when you use the exercise search feature. Only the search term you type (e.g. "bench press") is sent — no personal information, account details, or device identifiers are included in these requests.

Worky v3 does not track you across apps or websites. There are no advertising identifiers (IDFA), third-party analytics SDKs, crash reporting services, or behavioral tracking of any kind. No data is ever sold to third parties.

You can delete all of your data at any time from within the app via Settings → Sign Out. This permanently removes all workout data, logs, notes, and personal information from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, deleting locally will also remove the data from your iCloud account. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

Worky v3 is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can address it. If this privacy policy changes in a meaningful way, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
